During tenure with DePaul University participated in researching sober living environments (specifically Oxford House) with grant funding provided by the “Center for Community Research” via NIDA/NIH directed by Dr. Leonard Jason. Bryan also attended St. Augustine College, Chicago, Illinois in addiction theory and counseling. He is a certified addictions counselor and practiced for a large non-for-profit agency in Chicago specifically working with families in acute crisis. Bryan has expanded upon his practice and facilitates interventions for treatment centers located throughout the country.

Jon has been a long standing resident of Cary Illinois for nearly twenty years.
Jon’s area of focus is interpersonal skill building and relationship and addictions counseling. Jon works with adolescents, families, individuals and couples experiencing difficulties in their relationships and/or personal lives.
Jon has a solid back-round in addictions, co-occurring disorders and Family Systems Theory working with the Young Adult Male Population . This includes those who struggle with Rite of Passage to adulthood.
Jon is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Domestic Violence Professional and Partner Abuse Intervention Professional and works with court ordered clientele as well.

Jon’s multi-modality model including CBT, DBT and Person-Centered Therapy is a safe, non-threatening counseling approach. Jon’s experience as a Therapist in a clinical setting, a residential group home setting, experience working in a women’s shelter, one on one counseling, and group counseling can also meet the therapeutic needs of clients seeking services.
Jon also presents adolescent issues in school environments such as mental health awareness, bullying, sexual harassment/assault and dating safety.
